Setting Up the Property Management System

Enabling the PMS feature from Global Settings will allow the Resort tab to appear in the Payment frame of the POS.

  1. On the Management Menu, click Global Settings. The Global Settings page appears.
  2. Scroll to the Interfaces section and click Edit next to the PMS check box (must be already selected). The PMS Management page appears.
  3. In the Resort drop-down list, select a resort to edit. Or, to create a new resort record, click Add New.
  4. In the Resort Name box, enter the resort name.
  5. In the PMS Software drop-down list, select desired software.
  6. Enter PMS code in the PMS Code box.
  7. Select either a PMS Serial Port and/or a Connection Method.
  8. As an option, you can accept gift cards by selecting the Allow check box. Important: Northwind/Maestro must be selected as the preferred PMS Software first.
  9. In the Database Connection box, enter connection information.
  10. Click Save to save any changes you’ve made.
