Setting Up Kitchen Printers

  1. Select the Add/Edit link in Stores Management. The Store Kitchen Printer Management page appears.
  2. From the Kitchen Printer drop-down list, select a kitchen printer to view or edit, or click the Add New button to add a new kitchen printer.
  3. Fill in the following fields:
    1. Active: Select check box to have vendor appear in Inventory Management and Station Settings.
    2. Name: Name of the kitchen printer.
    3. Port: Select the port the printer is attached to or Windows Printer to enter the Printer Name.
    4. Printer Name: The name of the printer within Windows. The drop-down list may be selected to view a list of printers on the current system.
    5. Cut Code: Enter the printer specific codes for cutting the ticket at the end. This requires that a cut device is installed on the printer.
  4. Click Save to save the new printer or changes to an existing store.
  5. Click Exit to close the page and return to the Stores Management.
