How to use the open tickets screen

The following guide describes the different buttons and their functions in the “open tickets” screen of the touch interface in Reservations.

Open tickets screen

  1. My Tickets button: This button filters the list of open tickets to show only those last touched by the user currently logged in to Reservations.
  2. All Tickets button: This button unfilters the list of open tickets to show tickets open from all users.
  3. Additional buttons
    • Merge: Opens the merge window, allowing for two tickets to be combined into one.
    • Assign table: Opens the table map so the selected invoice can be assigned or reassigned to a table.
    • Void: Voids out the selected tab, assuming the user has security permissions to do so.
    • Reference: Allows you to change the name of the current tab.
    • Split: Opens the split screen, enabling you to split a tab into separate tabs.
    • Print: Prints out a copy of the current invoice to all the customers to see what the running total is.
    • View: Pulls up a receipt view of the invoice on the screen so it can be quickly reviewed.
    • Recall: Opens the selected ticket so more items may be added or adjusted.
    • Close: Closes the open ticket screen and returns you to the default touch screen.
